Since Kellie Pickler was on American Idol, I have not done too much watching of the vocal competitions (I totally LOVE Kellie and think she should have won, but I might be little biased!). Since Miley Cyrus destroyed her vocal chords at such a young age, I have not been a big supporter of young voices destroying themselves for fame. Danielle Bradbery, however has restored my faith in both.
Danielle's fame started when she became the youngest contestant on NBC's The Voice, and her fame skyrocketed when she became the youngest winner of The Voice! Her voice is so much more mature than I would have thought a 17 year old could sound, and when I listen to her album, I do not feel like I am listening to a tweenie bopper CD. Her self-titled album was released on November 25, 2013, and is beautiful, sincere country. I particularly like the fresh, young and vibrant feel of My Day! I think her iTune's bio says it all:
Danielle Simone Bradbery was born July 23, 1996 in League City, Texas. Although she claimed she had never sung in front of a big crowd before, mostly just singing in front of a mirror in her bedroom with a hair brush in her hand for a microphone, she cleared blind auditions and became a contestant on the fourth season of the television show The Voice in 2013, where one of her songs during the Top Ten playoff round, a rendition of "Heads Carolina, Tails California," ended up topping the iTunes Top Ten chart. Subsequently, a download-only album of her performances on the show was issued that summer, and in November of the same year she released her self-titled studio album which featured the hit single "The Heart of Dixie."
Yes this an official, "Watch this girl!" quote from me. She is going to be really big, and she is going to be someone to enjoy growing up to! Her deluxe album is $11.99 on iTunes and I totally recommend it! Download it today! You can stay up to date with all things Danielle on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram and Vine!
